A bit misleading, the title, as this isn’t exactly a blog for short people, as much as it is a blog against short people…
Everyday I get to work a little early so I can acquire one of the “good” Reach Trucks…and as they are being phased out because corporate “knows best (or cheapest)” the good reaches are becoming rare…
It doesn’t matter what job I’m doing, I grab a good reach and park it somewhere inconspicuous…occasionally it’ll get stolen
As it did today…twice
The first time by this really nice pregnant chick who gave it back to me when she left half day…this was nice as I was in the mods the first half of the night anyway..
However, I went to lunch and my reach was to be returned…when the coach tells me that my gun (which marks a reach as occupied) was on the desk…
Ousted from my machine…I spent the next 20 minutes driving around looking for the Twat who poached my reach. I found it parked (as the shippers had just gone to lunch themselves) and I looked to see who’d stolen it…
TT3 or from now on Tiny Tim…this in not a play on the tt (his actual initials) but on the fact that the thief is a dwarf, a shrimp, a scamp, a french dictator…a small fellow…
I debated stealing it back as Steve told me to do and which seems to be common practice…I had a half hour to decide…I drove around and did some staging…while doing this I heard Tiny Tim throws a bit of a temper tantrum and could cock off if approached…Eventually another reach turned up, from where i haven’t the slightest, so I took it….
Whether I was playing the game, or had some sort of opposition to conflict, or more likely an aversion to tiny people…the question still remains, where does he get off…why the sense of entitlement?
